I thought I’d start off the hiatus with this informative, fictional Newsweek cover. I think it falls it great with the story. Jack Knapp, being the PR guy that he is, The Crusader would be all over the media. We might get a page or two of the interview at sometime. That would be fun.
The cover also gives little snippets of what’s going on in the world. These things have been mentioned here and there throughout the story, but it’s kind of a small re-cap.
Monday will see the start of our guest artists.
Oh… don’t forget to check out my new webcomic. Remember that it’s a much quicker style than the stuff here at Heroes, inc. and that the site is still being worked on…

I was originally going to post some fan art by another webcomic artist first, but Antoine, the creator of “Drunken Fools” sent this over. I totally wet myself laughing when I saw this image. It goes SO well with the previous page, that I just HAD to put it up.
Antoine Gagnon’s strip The Drunken Fools, is about a bunch of guys who are all basically going through various degrees of a mid-life crisis. They’re in their mid thirties yet act like they’re still in college.
Then there’s Spike… the guy wearing the Crusader uniform.
I still owe Antoine a sketch from way back, when he helped out with my RSS problem, yet he took the time to whip this up. That’s (French) Canadian coolness for you.
Stop by his strip to give him some love.

This piece of art is provided by fellow superhero webcomic creator Scott Story. Scott’s the co-creator of Johnny Saturn. His partner in crime and writer of Johnny Saturn is his wife Benita. Together they’ve created a Mystery man as tough as nails, who literally has been to Hell and back.
There’s not many of us superhero webcomics out there and Johnny Saturn was one of the first. After almost fours years it’s still going strong and in the world of webcomics that amounts for a lot.
So for some hardcore superhero action head on over to Johnny Saturn.

By popular demand, Diana is back with various degrees of cheesecake… VOTE!
This piece of art is provided by Barry Linck, the creator of Phineus:Magician for hire It’s the story of a Husband and Wife paranormal investigations team. They’ve been going since around 1993 and have put out over 15 books.
Check them out.
Next thursday will be the last hiatus update. I’ll be putting something up myself for that. I’m also working on a map of the Heroes, inc world and… a wiki!! Some of you readers have asked for one before and it sounds like a good way to clear some of the historical things up. Things that sometimes don’t make it into the actual story.
Don’t forget to pop in and check out Diana’s cheescake by voting!!
I’ll be changing the image soon…

Okay people!!! Last hiatus page. This was REALLY fun to do. A lot of work, mind you, but fun. It’s been a while since I’ve used this software.
Just some little tidbits from the alternate reality. Nothin that really matters much. Just plain fun stuff.
So… Heroes, inc. start up next Monday!!! Wow! That hiatus sure went by in a flash. Guess I should start working on the next issue…
