Yeah, I know, it sucks. Another messy grayshaded page… Well if I get these colors done tonight I might just get back on shedule and then you won’t have to look at them anymore. 😀
I’ve been reading super hero comics regularly since I was little girl. Since I was born in 1962, that means it has been a while. I found your story a month or two ago. It is riveting. I am hooked. I hope to share your work with my sons in the future when you are further along.
As teens, they don’t really understand that what you are doing is a labor of love and that you need to do “work, work” in order to afford to continue making this really great story. Keep up the good work. You’ve got talent, my boy, real talent.
We artists need little pats on the back from time to time.
What Lain said I sign. One of my favorite comics atm with intriguing worldbuilding and characters, very good artwork and a fscinating storyline.
Don’t let any whiners get to you and keep up the good work. I take quality over quantity every time
Love your series so far. Good story telling and very accomplished art. Slight editorial note, mostly because I’m ridiculously anal-retentive… It’s “enforcement” 😀
Keep up the great work, this is one of my favorite reads!
Yeah that’s a typo that got left in an older version of the file. Put back in by accident when I changed some of the art…
Even in black and white, this page is still quite fine. Will it eventually be colorized to match the others? I notice that you’ve moved on many pages past this one now. (Definitely enjoying the strip.)
These WILL be colored…. really… 😀
I’m looking forward to see the colors on the 2nd to last panel. The rings look great (so does everything else btw, the rings just caught my eye).
That’s the way to go – keep the henchmen in line the old fashioned way!
IMHO delivering a sketched comic one day and updating to a colored page later is a GREAT way of keeping things moving. I’m happy to come back and see how things “developed”.
And we’ve seen from the last few pages how the added color brings further clarity to the story.
Keep it up!
Gray is better than nothing by far.
Thanks for understanding, guys N gals.
Absolutely loving this comic. I have read the entire archive in the space of a single afternoon. I have just note on this page… The guy on the far right of panel one…. His feet seem to overlap into the top right of panel two, through the panel border.
On another note… As someone who is helping his wife edit her first fantasy/comedy fiction novel, I know just how hard it is to spot typos, grammar errors, and maintain continuity and pace. It’s really refreshing to see a writer, and artist who is more than happy to receive feedback, and make corrections where needed.
Darn! Yeah, if I remember correctly I was debating on whether or not to have him “bleed” into the panel underneath him. He wasn’t supposed to go under the panel border though. I guess I moved on without noticing. I’ll have to try and fix that today.
I’m more than happy to take critiques and/or correction feedback. As I’ve said many times I’d hire an editor if I could afford it. Until then it’s up to my own eyes and sharp readers. 😀
I’ll definitely be keeping my eyes open for you 🙂
