Okay. Grayscale again… Been playing around with different techniques. Just keeping things fun, I guess. Various pencils and colored pencils on gray paper.
Anyways… Benton is pretty popular among the Mob.
Ouch.
New vote incentive up by the way…

Popular due to him messing up their operations earlier, I assume.
So, the guard, Anderson, sets Boone up by pulliing him out of Rec early, leading him back to his cell (which Boon knows the way to walking ahead of the guard), and then the guard fades away leaving boon ‘alone’ for an ambush/assasination. After i dealt with the assasin, that particular guard would also have a problem. Boon probably has a fuzzy reputation among the mob in that everyone the send after him … fails to file a report at the end. I’m glad it looks like we finaly get to see Boone in action.
Oh, earlier in the story, I guess I get how the toal destruction of several cities could turn Boone toward the vengence side of things.
Especially with his wife and kids in NY………
Why do I get the feeling that Anderson is NOT going to enjoy whatever happens next? Not that he doesn’t deserve it….
And I do wonder what is going to happen when Boone does find out what is going on with Lawrence and Diana. I am betting it won’t be pretty.
..that poor poor inmate… see.. this is why you don’t try to stab a guy with a healing factor (i’m pretty sure that’s Boone’s power)… i’m gonna love seeing what’s about to happen
That’s one of his powers. I’m holding off showing the “Main Power”, the Big Cheese power I’ve given him.
All in due time…
I am too lazy to look it up, but I think that someone remarked in one of the war-scenes that _all_ the supers had good healing. The military want to protect their investment.
er, Benton.. meant Benton… so many names, i’m so confused!
The original Black Terror’s name is Bob Benton. I’m presuming it’s short for Robert. so that would be: Robert “Boone” Benton
Boone I added myself as a nickname, because I wanted to use “sic ‘em, Boone”
Bonus points to whoever figures out where that’s from…
The Big Sky (1952)?
..Bob “Boone” Benton..well… it was a Golden Age Superhero thing to have your full name all sound alike
i mean, look at Superman and a bunch of his supporting characters
Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Lana Lang, Lex Luthor. Bob “Boone” Benton fits
Wow I’m surprised anyone caught that line…
Saw that movie as a kid and it stuck with me all my life. HAD to use it.
Should have known The Technical would know…
The greyscale works really well artistically for the interior of prison.
Looks great! Time for the beat down!
that is where I heard that before “sic um Boone” it was driving me crazy…I should of remembered it I have been looking for that darn movie in the past few weeks…since lost my copy. dang dang dang.
I paid you a really large compliment yesterday.
was telling a friend about this site, when he asked:
“what style is it??”
I told him- ” It aint Alex Ross, but its real close.”
He says he will have to check it out then. sending him the link now.
Keep up the good work
Well, dang… No pressure or anything…
If I didn’t have my A-game going then now’s the time.
well you know how we have to keep you artists egos in check or you just become tempremental and insufferable. LOL
jokes aside this story rocks.
rofl that stupid stupid ass.. I know what I would do if that were me though.
make the idiot stab himself, while saying “stop stabbing yourself” with every stab.
